I'm running Windows XP Pro 32bit and can't get the Network driver to install. I downloaded it from dell and when I click setup it doesn't do anything. I also tried some PRO2XP drivers someone directed me to and they say something about kernal32. Is there an alternate download, is the one on dell messed up or something? Everything else installed fine.

I also tried a Ralink RT2561 wireless internet adapter which I was using before without issue. It says connected to internet with an excellent signal but when I click on internet explorer it doesn't connect. I'm running Windows XP Pro 32bit and can't get the Network driver to install.

I bought a Dell Dimension 9150 last week. It only has 160GB SATA HD on it. So I bought a faster and bigger Western Digital 250GB 16MB Cache (model WD2500KS) to put into my system as my primary hard drive. Gerador De Cartelas De Bingo Em Pdf Merge on this page. My dell came with the Windows XP Home Edition. I want to install Windows XP Pro on it and I have the original CD for it, purchased from my school. For some reason, after booting up through the Win XP Pro CD, Windows Setup freezes after a while.

At first, I thought it was a problem with my new Western Digital HD. However, I tried running Windows Setup via CD boot with the HD that came with my Dimension and Windows Setup continues to freeze. It's like the Dell system will not let me install a fresh copy of Windows XP pro.

Anyone have the same problem or know what to do to fix this? I'm having a similar problem with mine. I bought mine with XP Home as I have a fresh/licensed copy of Pro at home. So, mine comes with RAID 0 across two SATA drives.

Obvioulsy, for the OS install to see the drives, it needs the RAID drivers. I have put this onto a floppy disk. It's a USB floopy drive, as there was no internal floppy drive with this system. When the CD boots up for the XP Pro install, and I press F6 - it picks the drivers up ok - then i choose the partition to install onto, format the drive, and then it asks me to insert the floppy disk in Drive A: again (it's actually still in the drive) and press Enter - to no avail, it's like it can't find the USB drive anymore. Any solutions?

Actually, I managed to get Windows setup to go through and install. I'm have another issue now but here's what I did. I went to the bios and and changed the SATA operation from the default AHCI/Raid Auto Detect to ATA/RAID Autodetect. Also, I went to the video card section(forgot the exact name of the section) and changed the setting from PCE (or PGE?) to PCI.

Windows Setup ran just fine after that. However, after Windows was installed, I went back to the BIOS and changed the settings back to default. Now, XP will not boot up. It starts booting up but the system reboots. I had to change the SATA Operation setting from AHCI/Raid back to ATA/Raid.

From what I read, my SATA HD is not utilizing its full capabilties unless it is using AHCI but I just cannot get it back to that setting. Any help is appreciated. I just called dell support and make up a story (caz' they have my record from the previous call). So the solution that a technician guy told me is to set up the RAID from the factory default to Combination(in BIOS under the Drives at last). This will fix the problem. However, I could not change it back to the factory default (same problem that the system will reboot continouesly). And I do the research on RAID.

If this system is for personal use, you don't need to config RAID. RAID is designed for server. Here is the solution for your problem. Do not change any BOIS setting. First copy all directories and files from Dell Windows XP Reinstall disk to some directory. Make following entries under each section to TXTSETUP.SIF file under I386 folder.
